Nearby Options For Parking at Sydney airport

There are a total of 3 options for parking at Sydney Airport. All of the options have different prices depending on the type and location of the parking lot you choose.

Here are all the features for long-term, short-term, and express Sydney Airport parking.

1. Long Term Parking

Long-term parking at Sydney Airport is a convenient option for going away for a few days or a few weeks with no limit for maximum stay. Several car parks offer this option for parking (P1, P2, P3, and Blue Emu car park for domestic traveling and P7 for International traveling). The rates vary depending on the car park, how early you book or whether you book online, or just drive in and pay at the exit. For those who prefer to plan their parking, we advise you to make a booking in advance because you could get a discount of up to 70 %. The earlier you book, the better discount you will get.

All of the car parks available for long-term parking are located near the Terminals within a minute’s walk. Furthermore, the Blue Emu car park has a free shuttle bus service from the car park to the Domestic Terminal.

There is no limit to a booked period, but you have to put into your booking dates and time.

2. Short Term Parking

Short-time parking at Sydney Airport is the best option for picking up or dropping off passengers with a retention time longer than 15 minutes. There is no formal definition for this type of parking but the most acceptable explanation is that short-term parking covers stay up to 3 days. If you think you will stay longer than 3 days, the better solution is to review some of the long-term car parks mentioned above.

For parking space, you have available P1, P2, P3, and Blue Emu car parks for domestic traveling and P7 for International traveling. Before booking, check the website to get an exact quote for your booking, and also to see if some parts of the airport parking are closed for some reason.

3. Express Airport Parking

All of the International and Domestic Sydney Airport parking areas have free pick-up zones located a short walk away from the terminals, suitable for picking up and dropping off family, friends, or your loved ones, without any fees. At Sydney airport, such a zone is the Express Airport parking.

The maximum allowed time for retaining is 15 minutes, twice per calendar day. It’s about special performance parking areas, designed for easy pick-up passengers from the airport.

To reduce waiting time, it’s a good idea for your passenger to let you know he is waiting in the Express Pick-up zone. Or as a general rule, arrive approximately 30 minutes after the flight is scheduled to land. However, we advise you to book in advance and avoid the additional costs of having to wait too long.
